Welcome to the official website of the Bunn Fire Department. The Bunn Fire Department is responsible for the fire protection of the citizens inside our fire district which is located in the southern Franklin County, North Carolina.
We are a non-profit organization run strictly by volunteers. The 43 volunteers run out of 3 stations with 11 trucks at their disposal. The ranks include 1 Fire Chief, 2 Assistant Chiefs, 2 Captains, and 2 Lieutenants with a board of directors as the governing body.
Mission Statement The Bunn Fire department will proudly educate, respond, and protect our community. We will proudly and continuously protect life, property, and the environment from fire, natural disasters, and other emergencies for those who live, work, and travel in and through Bunn Fire District with competent, professional, and honest personnel. We, the Bunn Fire Department, are an organization of dedicated professionals who are committed to serving the community. We will accomplish our mission through prevention, education, fire suppression, and other related emergency and non-emergency activities. |
